04/09/2024 UPDATE: CPWC will resume normal business hours as of Thursday, 04/11/2024.

CALDWELL PEDIATRICS AND WELLNESS CENTER

TEMPORARILY CLOSED

Dear Valued Patients of Caldwell Pediatrics,

On February 21, 2024 there was a massive cyber attack on Change Healthcare Clearinghouse.  The clearinghouse processes 1/3 of the nations insurance transactions and unfortunately they are the clearinghouse that we did 90% of our business through.  When their operations went down it caused a MAJOR backup in insurance claims and reimbursements.  As a result Caldwell Pediatrics has not been receiving insurance reimbursements for the past 6 weeks.  Although we have tried our best to continue to provide you with excellent healthcare over the last month and a half, there continues to be a delay in reimbursements for claims that has now financially crippled the practice.  With minimal support from insurance companies through this crisis, we have been forced to temporarily close the practice.  We plan to resume business practices as usual once this issue is resolved.

Thank you for your understanding as we attempt to navigate through this healthcare crisis.
